While we have been scanning plaster models to create digitally designed restorations for nearly a decade, in more recent years we have become more and more experienced creating restorations 100% digitally, without plaster models. Digital impressions, which our doctors provide via intra-oral scanners, have enabled us to skip the plaster models and go directly to digital design. Their positive feedback has provided assurance that these model-less restorations meet our quality standards, with the same proper occlusal clearance, zeroed-in interproximal contacts, and accurate margins
that our doctors have come to expect in all of our restorations. We don't sacrifice quality!

Now, with the new, cutting-edge 3Shape E4 scanner,
we are able to offer model-less crowns
even to our dentists who do not use intra-oral scanners. The E4 scanner has four super high definition MP5 cameras for enhanced accuracy and speed of all scanning, including the scanning of standard impressions. This enhanced accuracy of impression scanning
allows us to gather accurate digital data from most impressions* (without the need for physical models), granting us the ability to offer model-free restorations at a lower price.
